What you need to know
One of the few tech extracurriculars in Barcelona that will take a three-year-old — and it does it properly, with 15-minute activity bursts, big-piece construction and floor robots rather than screens. Groups cap at eight, and the 5-6 coding track is built for kids who are only just starting to read.
About
Gentle first contact with technology for the littlest ones. Ages 3-5 do hands-on robotics with chunky bricks, gears, pulleys and floor robots, in short bursts pitched at their attention span; ages 5-6 move into block-based coding on tablets with ScratchJr and Code.org, alongside unplugged games that teach commands, loops and algorithms away from a screen. Weekly one-hour classes in groups of 6-8 at Techlab Kids' Via Augusta center.
