What you need to know
Twelve courses on one continuous ladder, so a child who starts building LEGO robots at six can still be here at fifteen writing Python. Each robotics level is split into I and II, so returning students aren't repeating the year they just did, and kids work in pairs rather than alone. Anyone with a year of robotics behind them can also try out for Techlab's separate Robot STEAM Training Club, which trains teams for the World Robot Olympiad.

A full ladder of weekly STEAM courses a child can climb from age 6 to 15. The robotics track runs Bases (6-8) then Elemental (9+), building and programming machines with motors and sensors, moving up to LEGO Mindstorms EV3. The coding track goes from Scratch (7-8) through block-based programming and 2D/3D digital creation (8+) to Python (12+). Older kids can branch into game development with Buildbox or Roblox (10+), AI with virtual and augmented reality (10+), or responsible use of AI (12+). Every course is one 90-minute class a week in a group of 8-12, with materials and equipment included. The Via Augusta center in Sarrià runs the full menu; the Numància center in Les Corts runs Bases, Elemental, programming and digital creation, and AI/VR/AR.
