Sep–Jun, following the Generalitat's school calendar. 2026-27 starts 1 September 2026. Baby, White and Green groups run on into July; Blue, Orange, Red and Black groups finish in June. Optional intensive weeks at Christmas, Easter and in August (Bonanova only).

Enrollment fee
€130 one-time membership fee ("Cuota Entrada Socio/a"), charged with the first monthly payment. 50% off for a second child in the same family; free from the third.
Price notes
Figures come from the school's General Conditions PDF (edition 18 May 2026), which still lists the 2025-26 fee schedule; Penguins reviews prices once a year, so 2026-27 rates may rise. Courses are billed by the month — you cannot buy single classes — by direct debit between the 1st and 5th. The full monthly fee is charged regardless of public holidays, and months with five classes cost the same. Under-3s need two anti-leak swim suits, supplied by Penguins before the first class for €32 total. In August, Tuset and Sant Cugat close and no monthly fee is charged; Bonanova runs optional paid intensive weeks.

About
Penguins is a swim school built only for babies, kids and expecting mothers, with small warm pools, salt-treated water and levels named after penguin colors that children move up through. Classes are 40 minutes, once a week and in small groups, from water-familiarity sessions for babies with a parent in the pool to stroke technique and squad-style training for older kids. Three of the four centers are in Barcelona — Bonanova, Tuset and the Betània-Patmos school in Sarrià — and the fourth is in Sant Cugat del Vallès, outside the city.
