What you need to know

About
The Centre Excursionista de Terrassa is the city's hiking and mountain club, and its casal team runs a Christmas casal built around the outdoors. Last year it was for children born 2012 to 2018 (ages 7 to 13), in a younger and an older group of up to 20 each. Week one (22 to 24 December) included a trip to Montserrat with a night away and a climbing workshop, and cost €60. Week two (29 to 31 December) had a gymkhana, a day out on Terrassa's green ring and an orienteering race, for €35. Most days ran 9:00 to 13:00, with longer outing days. Every child must be a club member: joining for the last quarter of 2025 was €7.50, or €30 a year. Siblings and single-parent families got 5% off. Dates and prices shown are from 2025-26.
