What you need to know
A riding camp in the hills above Sant Just, close enough to Barcelona for a daily run.
- Two age tracks: a pony school for ages 3 to 6 and riding courses for ages 7 and up
- Small groups: the club says groups are kept small and beginners are welcome
- Full day possible: 9:00 to 17:00 with lunch, plus drop-off from 8:00
- Transport: a shuttle runs between Sant Just and the club
About
Poni Club Catalunya is a riding center founded in 1988 in the Vall de Sant Just, inside Collserola park and about 10 minutes from Barcelona. In the school holidays (summer, Easter and Christmas) it runs intensive riding casals in small groups, and no experience is needed. The Petita Escola de Ponis takes ages 3 to 6, and the riding school casal takes ages 7 and up (the club lists its intensive courses for ages 3 to 16). The day runs 9:00 to 13:00, or 9:00 to 17:00 with lunch, with drop-off from 8:00 and a transport service between Sant Just and the club. Riders do not need a federation license. The club has not published Christmas dates or prices yet. Booking is through the club's website.
