About
Vernita Studio is a sewing school at Carrer del Joncar 27 in Poblenou, and its casals are sewing camps. Kids from 5 to 16 sew by machine and by hand, design their own projects, cut their fabric and finish pieces with embroidery, each at their own pace. No experience is needed, and materials are included apart from special projects. Last winter the casal ran in three blocks: Dec 22 to 24, Dec 29 to Jan 2, and Jan 5 to 7. The winter price has not been posted yet. For reference, the studio's one-day casalet on Oct 30, 2026 runs 9:00 to 13:30 and costs €45, with 5% off for siblings and for students of its after-school classes. Booking is through the studio's online shop. Dates shown are from 2025-26. The 2026-27 casal had not been posted when we checked in September.
