KIDS.Barcelona is over 250 families strong now. We almost doubled this group in seven days (again)! Thanks for spreading the word 🙏 .
Catching our breath as Semana Blanca wraps.
Last Weekend:
Ben: “Getting to Sitges for the Kids Carnaval parade had more logistical complexity than I expected. My boys were exhausted on the train home, but the parade itself was pure joy and worth the effort.”
Rahim: “Planned for the highlighted Monumental event on Saturday, but a check on the 3-year-old’s emotional stamina (and mine) led to a pivot. We wandered Santa Eulàlia in El Born instead. Reminder to always have a Plan B.”

Share on WhatsApp if you know a parent who's stuck at home this weekend!

This Week's Upgrades
Pre-Booking: Our "Upcoming" section, at the bottom, now focuses on events that require buying tickets, as some events are surprisingly selling out weeks in advance.
Idan, another parent: “Monumental Carnaval was a total hit but I didn’t buy tickets beforehand and had to beg the manager to get in.”
Map & Tags: A simple visual city map (link at bottom) and clearer tags let you scan the weekend's geography at a glance. We’ll make these better over time.
💡 Add to Calendar: We noticed some of you open this email a dozen times a weekend just to check locations.
Reminder: Tap "Add to Calendar" on any event to drop the Google Maps link and timing directly into your phone. No more hunting for emails while standing on a windy street corner with a stroller.
Let’s close this break out strong. — Ben & Rahim

Basecamps is a nature-focused retreat center with tents and cabins in La Cerdanya. Another parent mentioned they were going this week (Ben remembered he went last fall and liked it). They seem to have an elaborate and well-thought out Kids Academy: survival workshops, igloos, fire-cooked meals, and a lot more. Let us know if you try it.
