Bon dia, Barcelona!
/
Spring break is here, and Port Vell just got a major upgrade. The Art Explora festival has docked, featuring a massive museum boat where kids can explore Louvre art on the Mediterranean.

This Weekend’s Highlights
Ben’s Farm Fest Nostalgia: Visit Vic for the Mercat del Ram agricultural fair. It is pure Minnesota State Fair vibes for Ben: livestock and farming technology. Vic is the ultimate farm party just an hour from the city, minus the butter statues!
Palms & Processions: Celebrate Palm Sunday in the heart of the city! Catch the famous "La Burreta" (The Little Donkey) procession in Ciutat Vella on Sunday morning. Traditional music and kids waving intricate, bleached palm leaves for their annual blessing.
Toddler Color Disco: Go wild in a neon world at L'Autèntica in Gràcia. This audiovisual dance party lets ages 1 to 4 groove through a chromatic universe!
Have a sunny and adventurous Spring break!

The Rabbit Hole
Just behind the modern buzz of Plaça Catalunya lies the mystery of the Alchemist of Carrer d’Estruc, a narrow alley where a history straight out of a fantasy novel is hidden in plain sight. In the 15th century, this was home to Astruc Sacanera, a legendary sorcerer famous for his "Viper Stone" that could allegedly cure any venomous bite. Turn the visit into a scavenger hunt for the kids: look up for the unique street sign featuring a cloaked wizard, then find the protective stone seals at number 14—where carved owls and mysterious "X" symbols still guard the alchemist's old laboratory from the evil eye. It’s a perfect, spooky-meets-lucky detour that turns a city stroll into a medieval adventure!
