- Water at 29-31°C, a few degrees warmer than the main pool
- Saturday-morning slots for every age band, not just babies
- Open-house week at the end of each trimester, so parents watch the progress
About
The municipal pool in Horta runs term-time swim courses for every age, from 6-month-old babies up to 17-year-olds. Five age bands share the shallow teaching pool, with sessions Monday to Saturday and a maximum of 10-12 swimmers per group. Members and non-members can both enroll, and places renew automatically each trimester unless you cancel.
