What you need to know
Few Christmas camps for 3 to 5 year olds come with this much outdoor space: the grounds of the Olympic rowing canal in Castelldefels, with a little train to ride around them.
- Bring wheels: a bike or scooter and a helmet are required, and they can stay at the venue between days.
- Two day lengths: 9:00 to 14:00 without lunch, or 9:00 to 17:00 with lunch included.
- Sold in blocks: last year it was one three-day block before Christmas and one four-day block after it.
- Pack from home: a mid-morning snack, a water bottle, a change of clothes and an old T-shirt for painting.

A Christmas holiday camp for preschoolers (I3 to I5, ages 3 to 5) at the Canal Olímpic de Catalunya, the Olympic rowing venue in Castelldefels. Days are based in the site's wooden cabins, with workshops, crafts and building projects. When the weather allows, kids go outdoors for rides on the Tren del Canal, the site's little train, and time at the Parc Vertical adventure area. Every child brings a bike or scooter and a helmet, which can stay at the venue between days. Pick 9:00 to 14:00 without lunch, or 9:00 to 17:00 with lunch included. In 2025-26 it was sold as two blocks: Dec 22 to 24 (three days) and Dec 29 to Jan 2 (four days, closed Jan 1). Mornings cost €62.88 for Canal members and €77.73 for non-members per three-day block (€83.84 and €103.64 for four days). Full days cost €104.91 and €120.15 (€139.88 and €160.20 for four days). Second siblings got 5% off. Sign up online or at the Canal's reception desk. Dates and prices shown are from 2025-26. The 2026-27 edition is usually announced in mid-November.
