What you need to know
Three art disciplines across three mornings, in a working studio.
- Groups of eight, so each kid gets hands-on time at every station
- Ages 5 to 14 together: projects adapt to the child, not the group
- Materials included, mostly unprocessed or salvaged: clay, wood, paper
- Three-day blocks: book one block instead of a full week
About
A three-day Christmas workshop at El Burot's studio in Gràcia, where kids rotate through ceramics, drawing and plastic arts using clay, wood, paper, wicker and salvaged materials. Groups are capped at eight children and everyone works on their own project, so a wide age range shares the same tables. Kids bring breakfast and wear clothes that can get dirty. Ceramic pieces go home a few weeks later, once fired.
