About
Chesslandia is the chess camp Peón Negro runs at its own rooms in Sants over the school holidays: four hours of chess a morning, 9:30 to 13:30. Each day mixes teaching sessions pitched at the child's level, friendly tournaments against the other kids, games on the club's giant chess set, and puzzles and brain games in between. No experience is needed: activities are adapted for children who have never moved a piece and for those who already play regularly, and ages 5 to 14 share the same rooms. Boards, clocks and teaching material are provided; kids bring their own mid-morning snack. This Christmas the camp runs December 22 to 31, 2026, plus January 4 and 5, 2027. The five-day session costs €79 and a single day costs €20, subject to space. Places are limited and given out in order of sign-up, and a deposit confirms the booking.
