What you need to know
The one for a kid who wants to make something with their own hands: mornings are spent at a sewing machine, working on a project they chose.
- Sewing machines from day one: kids sew by machine and by hand, and learn the main embroidery stitches.
- Ages 5 to 16, each working at their own pace, so siblings of different ages can go together.
- No experience needed: materials are included, apart from special projects.
About
Vernita Studio is a sewing school at Carrer del Joncar 27 in Poblenou, and its casals are sewing camps. Kids sew by machine and by hand, design their own projects, cut their fabric and finish pieces with embroidery, each at their own pace. No experience is needed. The winter price is not posted yet; for reference, a one-day casalet this October costs €45. Booking is through the studio's online shop.
