What you need to know
A single day at the Zoo on the eve of Three Kings, handy if you need one day covered or want to try a Zoo casal before booking a longer one.
- One day, booked on its own: January 5 in 2025-26, a weekday when many other camps have already finished
- Morning or full day: pickup at 13:00, or stay for lunch and afternoon workshops until 16:30. Drop-off is from 8:50 at the Zoo's Parc de la Ciutadella entrance
- Discounts stack up with siblings: in 2025-26, 5% off for two siblings or two casals and 10% off for three, when booked together
- Language: the Zoo does not say which language its educators use, so ask when you book if that matters to you
About
A one-day Barcelona Zoo casal for ages 5 to 14, held at the Zoo in Parc de la Ciutadella. The theme is animal travel: kids follow the trips animals make to find food and to breed, trace migration routes across countries, and learn how each animal adapts to where it lives and to climate change. The morning is spent with the animals around the grounds, the afternoon on games, workshops and crafts. Hours are 9:00 to 13:00, or 9:00 to 16:30 with lunch. In 2025-26 it ran on January 5 and cost €29 without lunch or €47 with lunch (€27 and €42 for Zoo Club members), less for large and single-parent families. The date and prices shown are from 2025-26. The 2026-27 edition is usually announced around November 20.
