Pick this one if your child would rather go behind the scenes at the Zoo than walk past the enclosures.
- Three days right before Christmas: December 22 to 24 in 2025-26, sold as one block
- Morning or full day: pickup at 13:00, or stay for lunch and afternoon workshops until 16:30. Drop-off is from 8:50 at the Zoo's Parc de la Ciutadella entrance
- Sibling and multi-camp discounts: in 2025-26, 5% off for two siblings or two casals and 10% off for three, when booked together
- Language: the Zoo does not say which language its educators use, so ask when you book if that matters to you
About
Barcelona Zoo's education team runs this three-day Christmas casal at the Zoo, in Parc de la Ciutadella, for ages 5 to 14. The theme is the Zoo kitchen: kids learn what each animal eats and how many kilos of food are prepared every day, help make the meals, then watch to see if the animals like them. Mornings are spent with the animals around the grounds, afternoons on games, workshops and crafts. Hours are 9:00 to 13:00, or 9:00 to 16:30 with lunch. In 2025-26 it ran December 22 to 24 and cost €87 without lunch or €141 with lunch (€81 and €126 for Zoo Club members), with lower prices for large and single-parent families. Dates and prices shown are from 2025-26. The 2026-27 edition is usually announced around November 20.
