Indoor Play for Toddlers in Barcelona

7 places

Toddlers need somewhere soft to climb, a grown-up close by and a visit short enough to end well. These are the indoor spots we use on rainy mornings and too-hot afternoons: ball pits, wooden climbing frames, messy art and calm shoes-off playrooms built for under-fives. A few are worth the trip out of town. Here's what we checked, from Tribu House in Poblenou to Starr Park Cafe in Terrassa.

Most visits take 60 to 90 minutes, and the route ends at a café and shop selling Parallelo gelato and Onyva coffee, free to enter without a ticket.

Little Makers is a creative atelier built around process art: kids explore paint, printmaking, collage and mixed materials with no fixed outcome to copy. They run family art sessions where you create together on canvas, after-school classes, holiday camps and birthday parties. Aprons on, mess encouraged. A good pick when you want something more creative than a play park.
