Question 1

Do we need to book anything in advance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, one thing: a museum entry ticket, which CosmoCaixa makes free for this night. Reserve it through their ticket page before you come. The activities inside take no bookings at all: every workshop, game and demo runs until it fills up, in strict order of arrival.

Question 2

What time should we get there with younger kids?

Accepted Answer

Come for 6pm. The family workshops and Misión Inmune, the immune-system scavenger hunt, both start then and wrap up between 8pm and 8:15pm, so a two-hour visit covers the whole family program. Arrive at 7:30pm and most of the hands-on spots will already be gone.

Question 3

What's the easiest way to get there?

Accepted Answer

FGC line L7 to Avinguda Tibidabo, then a 10-minute walk uphill. Buses H2, H4, V13, V15, V17, V19, 123 and 196 all stop nearby. If you drive, the Saba car park at Carrer dels Quatre Camins 89 sits next to the museum and stays open until 11pm, and there is free bike and scooter parking at the main entrance.

Question 4

Can we get dinner at the museum?

Accepted Answer

Plan to eat before or after. The restaurant serves lunch only, and the cafeteria's regular hours run to 8pm, so it closes partway through the evening. There are cafes and restaurants down the hill around the Avinguda Tibidabo FGC stop.
