Not this year. All flights are canceled for 2026 because of the extreme wildfire risk. The closest you'll get is the Night Glow on Saturday night, when the balloons inflate and light up to music from the ground.

This year, Saturday evening (July 11) for the Night Glow. The dawn and dusk launches that normally anchor the day are canceled, so build your visit around the evening show and the daytime workshops instead.

How do we get there from Barcelona, and does it work as a day trip?

Accepted Answer

Igualada is about an hour west of Barcelona by car, and it makes an easy day trip. Bring sun cover and water since it's an open field in July, and a stroller is fine on the grass.
