What you need to know

  • Try-it zones, not just bleachers: the open parks' pump tracks and mini ramps are there for kids to ride.
  • Competitions skew teen, but younger kids get plenty of wheel time in the open zones.
  • Food trucks on-site, so you skip the lunch-break scramble across the park.

About

Extreme Barcelona returns to Parc del Fòrum for its 18th edition with over 500 athletes from 40 countries competing across 11 urban sports disciplines, including BMX, skateboarding, scootering, breaking, 3x3 basketball, street football, surfskate, and fitness. Entry is free all weekend. Beyond the competitions, the open parks put pump tracks and mini ramps within reach of kids and beginners, with urban art workshops, live music and DJs, a market, and food trucks rounding out the three-day program.
