No. General admission is free all three days, no booking needed. There's an optional paid VIP Experience sold through the official site, but families don't need it to enjoy the competitions and open zones.

Is there shade, or will we be baking in the sun?

Parc del Fòrum is pretty open and exposed, so bring sunscreen and a hat. There's some shade near the water and around the market areas, but if your kids don't do well in heat, go early in the morning or later in the afternoon when it cools down.

Extreme Barcelona returns for its 18th edition with over 500 athletes from 40 countries competing across 11 urban sports disciplines, including BMX, skateboarding, scootering, breaking, 3x3 basketball, street football, surfskate, and fitness. Beyond the competitions, the open parks put pump tracks and mini ramps within reach of kids and beginners, with urban art workshops, live music and DJs, a market, and food trucks rounding out the program.
