Does my kid need any art experience?

No. The organizers say no experience is needed for the workshops, and the open wall on Carrer Ferran Turné lets anyone paint. Dress kids in clothes you don't mind getting paint on.

Do we need to sign up?

The open wall and the POSCA tables are drop-in. The only sign-up the organizer lists is for the B-LAB drawing lab with Clara Nubiola, by email to hola@bmurals.com.

There's a drinks bar run by Lambicus and Fritz-Kola. The program lists no food stalls, so bring snacks.

Is the evening good for kids?

The 7:30pm opening of XPIELLAX's WHY YOU MAD? at Galeria B-Murals includes a live performance, but it's an art opening, not a kids' show. With younger kids, the morning workshops are the better bet.

About

B-Murals Fest is the street art festival of B-Murals, the urban art center at Nau Bostik. Kids can paint freely on the Mur Obert, an open street wall, try graffiti, sticker, mural and family workshops, or customize a tote bag with POSCA markers. No experience needed. Ten new murals, painted earlier in the week, cover the walls around them. Afternoon talks and a gallery opening lean toward teens and adults.
