Where's the best place to watch with kids?

Skip the start at Plaça de la Universitat, which gets tightly packed. Head to the finish end at Passeig de Lluís Companys by the Arc de Triomf, a wide, pedestrian boulevard with grass and shade where you can watch the floats arrive and step out of the crowd when you need to.

Take the metro to Universitat (L1/L2) for the start, or Arc de Triomf (L1) or Marina (L1) for the finish end. Rodalies trains also stop at Arc de Triomf. Streets along the route close for the parade, so transit beats driving.
