Street parking around La Rambla is hard on weekends, so if you're driving, use a paid garage: Parking BSM Plaça Catalunya and SABA BAMSA Rambla-Liceu are both within a 10-minute walk.

Is there anything to do before the show to get the kids into it?

Yes, the Liceu publishes a free Family Preparation Guide and a Spotify playlist of the Puccini pieces used in the production (both linked above). They also run an optional pre-show family workshop (free for subscribers, €3 otherwise) led by artists from the cast, limited spots, ticket-holders only, bookable through the Liceu site.

What you need to know

Needs no Catalan: the show is mostly visual and musical, so kids can follow the story without the words.
Aimed at teens: the Liceu built it to reach teenagers in particular, and it holds up for adults too.
On the main stage: a full-scale production in the Liceu's Sala Gran, not a studio show.

About

Circus and opera merge in this production featuring Puccini's music, acrobats, and singers performing the story of the "impossibles" who inhabit the Tower of Dreams. The ensemble includes vocalists Raquel Del Pino, Xavi Fernández, Joan Garcia Gomà, and circus artists performing trapeze, balance acts, and choreography. The show explores intuition, passion, and the right to make mistakes through physical and vocal acrobatics.
