Reserve a free spot on the CaixaForum website rather than just turning up; the activity is free but they have you book an entry, and slots can be capped. Each accompanying adult needs to reserve a ticket too.

Does an adult have to join in, or can I drop my kid off?

You stay with them. Children have to be accompanied by an adult throughout, so plan to take part rather than dropping off and leaving.

Is this better for kids who like building and creating, or will my shy kid feel pressured in a group?

It's group work with other kids, guided by a monitor. The task is fitting elastic bands, not performing, so quieter kids can join in without being the center of attention. A child who finds working with strangers stressful may find it a lot.

Can we do this on a weekend instead of Monday or Thursday?

No, there are no weekend sessions. If weekday afternoons don't work for your family, this one won't fit.

About

A workshop where children install elastic bands from wall to wall to create a collective art installation inspired by Piet Mondrian's geometric compositions. Participants work in groups with a monitor to build an ephemeral maze-like structure using colored lines placed in any direction, then explore and play within their creation.
