Question 1

Do we have to sit down and play a full game, or can we just try a few?

Accepted Answer

You can drop in and play whatever you want for as long as you want. The educator will help you pick a game that fits your kids' attention span, and you're not locked into anything. Some games take 15 minutes, others 45, so you can bail whenever and try something else.

Question 2

Is this better for kids who already like board games, or will my kid who's never played one get bored?

Accepted Answer

The whole point is that the games teach science concepts through play, so even kids new to board games will get something out of it. The educator picks games matched to your kid's age and interests, so it's not like you're sitting through something too hard or too babyish.

Question 3

How do we get there by metro?

Accepted Answer

Take L4 (yellow line) to El Maresme | Fòrum, then it's about a 4 minute walk to the museum. Look for the big blue triangular building on the Fòrum esplanade, you can spot it as soon as you come up from the station.

Question 4

Is there anywhere to grab food or a coffee before or after?

Accepted Answer

The museum has a cafe inside, so you can grab something there. The Parc del Fòrum also has a few spots nearby, but honestly the cafe is your easiest bet if you're hungry between games.
