Is the correfoc OK for young kids?

Fire runs mean loud firecrackers and sparks. Dress kids in long cotton sleeves and a hat, bring ear protection for little ones, and watch from the edge of the plaza rather than inside the run.

About

La Sagrera's festa major is the neighborhood's big autumn street party, built on Catalan folk tradition. Giants, fire-running devils, sardana dancing and human towers take over the plazas, and the whole barri comes out to watch. Look for the Sagrerina, the neighborhood's own giantess and the only single one in Barcelona.
