Question 1

Which weekend matinees still have seats?

Accepted Answer

As of Sep 30, the first one is Sunday, Nov 1 at 12:00pm. After that: Saturday, Nov 7 and Sunday, Nov 8 at 5:00pm, Saturday, Nov 14 at 5:00pm, Sunday, Nov 15 at 12:00pm, Saturday, Nov 21 and Sunday, Nov 22 at 5:00pm. The official site marks all of these "last tickets". Every October matinee is sold out. For more choice of seats, look at the 5:00pm shows from Sunday, Dec 20 onward.

Question 2

How much Spanish does a kid need to follow it?

Accepted Answer

The show is performed in Spanish. The theater lists the language as Castellano. The organizer describes it as large-scale illusions with big staging, and those are visual, so a kid can watch the tricks without catching every word. Neither the organizer nor the theater says how much talking there is, and no subtitles or translation are mentioned, so expect the spoken parts to be in Spanish.

Question 3

Which shows work best for a school night or a younger kid?

Accepted Answer

The 5:00pm shows on Saturdays and Sundays end around 6:30pm. Some Sundays have a 12:00pm show in place of the 5:00pm one (Nov 1, 15, and 29, and Dec 13), and Dec 27 and Jan 3 have both. Over the winter break there are extra 5:00pm shows on Wednesday, Dec 23 and Wednesday, Dec 30. Weeknight shows start at 8:00pm or 8:30pm.

Question 4

Can a 2-year-old come?

Accepted Answer

The organizer says the show is not recommended for children under 3. It also warns about flashing lights and lasers that may affect photosensitive people. Everyone who enters the theater needs a ticket, babies included. The show runs about 90 minutes.

Question 5

What is the easiest way to get there?

Accepted Answer

Take the metro. Paral·lel station (L2 and L3) is a one-minute walk from the door. The theater has no elevator, so its own advice for wheelchair users is to book seats in the Platea (ground floor), which is reached by ramps. There is no cloakroom.
