Kids who like asking big questions will get a lot out of it; under-7s will mostly enjoy the visuals and may want to move quickly.

Easily. The Centre Martorell sits right inside the park, so you can fold in the playgrounds, a row on the boating lake, or the Barcelona Zoo next door. It's also a short walk from the Arc de Triomf and the El Born neighborhood for lunch afterwards.
