Name: Four Feminist Acrobats Perform Free Circus in Montjuïc
Start: 2026-05-15
End: 2026-05-16T23:59:59
Location: Plaça Margarida Xirgu

Question 1

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The show is outdoors on Plaça Margarida Xirgu, so rain is a real concern. The venue may delay the start slightly if the weather looks shaky; if it's not viable they'll cancel. Check the Mercat de les Flors site on the day if the forecast is iffy.

Question 2

Is it good for kids, or more for adults?

Accepted Answer

It's billed for all audiences (Cie Josianes recommends from age 4 up), but it's a street circus with feminist themes and some adult humor. Kids under 8 may get restless across the 50 minutes; older kids will likely enjoy the acrobatics, vertical dance, and singing. If your kids are happy with physical comedy and don't need dialogue they understand, they'll be fine.

Question 3

How do we get there?

Accepted Answer

Plaça Margarida Xirgu sits just next to Mercat de les Flors at the foot of Montjuïc. The easiest approach is metro Poble Sec (L3), about a 6-minute walk. The 55 and 150 buses also stop nearby. On-street parking is tight, so transit is easiest.

Question 4

Do we need to book tickets or just show up?

Accepted Answer

No tickets or booking needed, so just show up before the start. There's no assigned seating, so come early if you want a good sightline.
