What is happening in 2026?

Gavà has announced a new light garden at Torre Lluc for Christmas 2026, inspired by the Bosc Encantat, the enchanted forest that ran here before 2025. Dates and hours are not out yet.

What did 2025 look like?

The Jardí dels Somnis opened in late November and ran to Jan 5, daily from 5:30pm (4:30pm Jan 2 to 4). It closed early on Dec 24 and Jan 5, and the garden itself closed Dec 29 to Jan 1 while it was reset as a camp for the Kings' royal mail carriers.

In past years, no: it was free and open to everyone, with no booking.

Is it good for kids with sensory sensitivities?

In 2025 there were quiet sessions with the sound and light turned down, and people with reduced mobility or a disability card went straight in without queuing. Check the 2026 program for repeat sessions.

When is it least crowded?

Weekday evenings right at opening time are calmer than Friday and weekend nights, when queues can form.

Every Christmas the garden around Torre Lluc, an old country house in Gavà, fills with a free walk-through world of lights. For years it was the Bosc Encantat, an enchanted forest of glowing figures. In 2025 it became the Jardí dels Somnis, the Garden of Dreams, with fairy-tale sets, interactive installations and Gavà's storybook heralds, l'Herald and l'Heraldina, pulling kids into games. For 2026 the town has announced a new set inspired by the old enchanted forest. The 2025 garden also had quiet sessions with softer sound and light for children who find noise and crowds hard.
