What you need to know
- Two fire runs back-to-back, so families can choose their kids' comfort level and stay for both.
- Dress for sparks: cotton clothing, long sleeves, covered shoulders, and closed shoes (no flip-flops) for kids who want to get close; spectators at the edge need less.
- Outdoor street procession, no tickets or reservations needed; just show up along the route.
About
Gràcia closes its biggest week with fire, scaled down for children: a correfoc where small devils run the street under fountains of gentler sparks, drummers behind them and crowds cheering from the edges. It is loud, bright and very Catalan, and because the route is long and open, you can join for as much or as little as your kids can take. The full grown-up run follows later that night.
