Question 1

Will my 6-year-old actually sit through 50 minutes of this?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your kid's attention span and whether they like physical comedy. There's no dialogue, so it's all visual gags, juggling, and weird puppet interactions. If they get restless during movies, this might be a stretch. But if they like watching people do silly physical stuff, they'll probably be into it.

Question 2

Is there parking at Teatre Lliure, or do I need to take the metro?

Accepted Answer

There's a paid car park at the venue, but it fills up fast on weekends. The metro is easier: take L2 to Paral·lel and walk up about 10 minutes, or L3 to Drassanes and it's a longer walk. If you're coming from the city center, metro is honestly less stressful than hunting for a spot.

Question 3

Can I grab food before or after the show?

Accepted Answer

There's a restaurant at Teatre Lliure, but it gets busy during festival season. Your safest bet is to eat before you arrive or grab something nearby in Montjuïc. The venue itself isn't in a neighborhood packed with cafes, so plan ahead if your kids get hungry.

Question 4

What if my kid gets bored halfway through?

Accepted Answer

It's only 50 minutes, so you're not locked in for hours. If they're really struggling, you can slip out without disrupting much. But honestly, the show moves fast and there's always something happening on stage, so most kids either get it or zone out quietly.
