Is this worth the drive from Barcelona?

Sant Pere de Riudebitlles is about 45 minutes northwest of Barcelona, so it's a solid half-day trip rather than a quick outing. If your kids love puppets or physical theater, Gota is genuinely creative and worth the drive, but B.O.B.A.S on Sunday morning is more of a bonus if you're already in the area.

What's the difference between the two shows?

Gota (Saturday at 6pm) is a silent object manipulation and physical comedy show, so it works for kids who don't need words to follow along, but it's more artistic than silly. B.O.B.A.S (Sunday at noon) is a street show with live music and clown antics, so it's louder and more chaotic fun, and it's free.

About

Mitjó is a village puppet festival, and this edition brings two very different shows. Gota, by Txema Muñoz, mixes object manipulation, physical theater and comedy in poetic silence. B.O.B.A.S is a street show of clown antics, live music and surprises, also without words.
