What you need to know

  • Hands-on, not spectator-only, so kids write in Iberian script, throw slings, and help rebuild walls with clay.
  • Day and night activities, so you can split workshops in the daytime and a theatrical night visit after dinner.
  • Built for all ages, with an adults-only Iberian vermut session so parents get a break too.

About

Terra Ibèrica Festival transforms the Iberian Citadel into a four-day historical reenactment event featuring workshops in Iberian writing and pottery, theatrical night visits, sling-throwing activities, and participatory reconstruction challenges. The 2026 edition centers on the 2024 DANA meteorological disaster, with performers and archaeologists recreating how ancient inhabitants would have responded to the catastrophe. Morning, afternoon, and evening activities include historical reenactments about trade and daily life, costume photo opportunities, and adult-focused vermut gatherings.
