Is it too loud or intense for a 2-year-old?

It's a full concert with big sound, lasers and a confetti finale, so most toddlers are mesmerized, but pack ear protection if yours is noise-sensitive. The Thriller number also brings out costumed zombies, which can startle the very little ones.

Will my kid enjoy it if they don't know Michael Jackson?

Most do. It's wall-to-wall hits with non-stop dancing, and kids tend to be up and moving within a couple of songs even when the music is new to them.

Do under-2s need their own ticket?

No. Children under 2 get in free if they sit on a lap. From age 2, everyone needs their own seat and ticket.

Can we drive to Teatre Poliorama?

You can, but the metro is far easier. It's on the upper Rambla, where parking is scarce and pricey.

SF → Barcelona (Gràcia), kids 5 & 7, Updated June 2026

I took my kids in May and they loved it. But it was the other parents that really enjoyed the show, ending with a standing ovation. The impersonator is truly dedicated to the craft.

About

A Michael Jackson tribute concert. Impersonator SacMjj recreates his best-known choreographies while Dabeat sings the hits live. It suits kids who like to get up and dance, and parents who grew up on Thriller often enjoy it as much as the kids do.
