What's the easiest way to get to the theater?

The metro. The nearest stops, listed under Getting there, are all a few minutes' walk away, and weekend street parking nearby is scarce.

Is 55 minutes too long for a younger child to sit through?

It's near the upper limit for preschoolers, but the nonstop movement, music, and props hold attention better than a dialogue-heavy play would. Seats are assigned, so if your child tends to get restless, pick an aisle seat when you book in case you need to slip out for a moment.

Is there anywhere to go before or after near the theater?

Yes. A few playgrounds are within a 5-10 minute walk, and the streets around Sant Antoni have plenty of cafés for a snack. The show ends around 1pm, so it lines up well with lunch afterward.
