Question 1

Will my kid follow the English dialogue?

Accepted Answer

If they watch English cartoons at home, they will be fine. Toy Story's dialogue is simple and the Spanish subtitles fill any gaps. Kids from about 6 up follow it with ease, and younger ones enjoy the visuals even when they miss a line.

Question 2

When does it finish?

Accepted Answer

The film is about 100 minutes, so a 3:50pm session lets out around 5:45pm, with dinner still ahead.

Question 3

Has this moved cinemas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The English screenings used to run up at Mooby Balmes and have moved to Mooby Aribau in the Eixample, which also brought the start time back into the afternoon. The other films in this collection are still at Balmes.

Question 4

Is Wednesday a good day to go?

Accepted Answer

If your week is flexible, yes. Wednesday tickets are 6.50 euros for everyone, the cheapest day of the week at Mooby Aribau. Kids under 13 pay 8 euros on any other day.

Question 5

Do we need to book, or can we turn up?

Accepted Answer

You can buy on Mooby's site ahead of time, worth doing on weekends when the family sessions fill up. Weekday afternoons are usually quiet enough to buy at the door.
