Guilleries-Savassona is a protected stretch of mixed forest and bare rock cliffs around the Sau reservoir. The draw for kids is the church tower of Sant Romà de Sau, a village flooded when the reservoir was built, which still rises out of the water.

The lakeside picnic area has tables, toilets, a play area and the start of two signposted trails, one past old charcoal-burning sites.
