What you need to know

Pick this one if your child is always asking why and would love to try real science with real animals.

Three days right before Christmas: December 22 to 24, Tuesday to Thursday, sold as one block
Morning or full day: pickup at 13:00, or stay for lunch and afternoon workshops with pickup at 16:15. Drop-off is from 8:50 at the Zoo's Parc de la Ciutadella entrance
Book by December 9: sign-up is online, and Zoo Club members and large or single-parent families pay less. Have scans of a child photo, health card, vaccination record and a parent's ID ready
Language: Catalan. If your child needs some English, ask when you book. The educators are Zoo staff and may be able to help, but the Zoo does not promise it

About

Barcelona Zoo's education team runs this three-day Christmas casal on the theme of science. Kids work like the researchers who study animals: they ask questions, collect data and draw conclusions through games, experiments and challenges. Mornings are spent watching the animals up close around the grounds, learning how they behave and adapt and how science helps protect them. Afternoons are for games, workshops and crafts.
