What you need to know
A short Zoo casal for the last two days of the holidays, handy when school is still out but most camps have finished.
- Two days before Three Kings: January 4 and 5, Monday and Tuesday, sold as one block
- Morning or full day: pickup at 13:00, or stay for lunch and afternoon workshops with pickup at 16:15. Drop-off is from 8:50 at the Zoo's Parc de la Ciutadella entrance
- Book by December 9: sign-up is online, and Zoo Club members and large or single-parent families pay less. Have scans of a child photo, health card, vaccination record and a parent's ID ready
- Language: Catalan. If your child needs some English, ask when you book. The educators are Zoo staff and may be able to help, but the Zoo does not promise it
About
A two-day Barcelona Zoo casal just before Three Kings, on the theme of animal journeys. Kids follow the long trips animals make to find food, breed or find a better home, trace migration routes across countries, and learn how each animal adapts to where it lives and to climate change. Mornings are spent with the animals around the grounds, afternoons on games, workshops and crafts.
