Is it happening in 2026?

Port Olímpic has not announced its 2026 program yet. In 2025 the tree went up on November 22 and the play zone ran from December 20 to January 5, every day from 11am to 8pm.

Entry and most activities are free. The bouncy castles, jumping area and trampolines were paid, and the weekend family craft workshops, where kids make their own Christmas ornament, cost €10 with booking (2025: Dec 20 and 21, 27 and 28, Jan 3 and 4).

What ages is it best for?

Toddlers to about 10. Little ones like the wooden blocks, reading corners and face painting; older kids go for the giant games, trampolines and origami. In 2025 there were also free street shows on some mornings, including a New Year's show for kids on December 31 at 12:30pm.

The play zone has a snack area with sweets and drinks, and the seven restaurants of the Balcó Gastronòmic on the Moll de Gregal serve full meals, with Christmas menus.

Can we see the Kings arrive?

Yes, and it is free. In 2025 the boat came in through the Dic de Recer at 3:15pm and the Kings stepped ashore at 3:45pm at the corner of the Moll de Mestral and Moll de Gregal. Arrive early for a spot by the water.

About

Every Christmas the Port Olímpic marina turns its waterfront into a winter play zone for families, with a handmade theme of paper, light and the sea. A 12-meter tree with handmade paper ornaments lights up the dock, and the play area fills with giant games, wooden blocks, origami and a royal page, one of the Kings' messengers who collect children's letters. After dark, a short 3D projection tells the story of a sailor cat hunting for Christmas decorations across the city. The season ends with the Three Kings arriving by boat on January 5, before they head off to start the Sant Martí district parade.
