Is Christmas at Tibidabo happening in 2026?

The park runs a Christmas season every year, but 2026 dates are not out yet. In 2025 it ran Nov 29 to Jan 5 on the park's opening days, so check the park calendar before going, since it does not open every day in winter.

Is any of it scary for little kids?

Skip the horror area, Espai 666, with young kids. In 2025 the Krampus, a horned monster from Alpine Christmas folklore, took it over after Dec 8. Everything else is gentle.

How much are tickets?

Park tickets are €39 over 120 cm and €15.50 for kids 90 to 120 cm, and kids under 90 cm go free. The ticket includes the Cuca de Llum funicular and the TibiBus shuttle. In 2025 the skating rink was included, or €5 on its own.

Is it worth it with a toddler?

Yes, if the goal is Santa, the puppet show, the mascots and the smaller rides. Under 90 cm is free, so it can be a cheap outing with a little one.

About

Tibidabo, the old amusement park on the tallest hill over Barcelona, gets a full Christmas makeover each winter. A giant tree greets families at the entrance, the Merlí free-fall tower lights up as a Christmas star, and a skating rink with views over the city takes over the Plaça dels Somnis. Younger kids can catch a Christmas puppet show at the TibiMarionetarium and bump into roaming elves and the park mascots. In the days before Christmas, Santa comes to visit, and after New Year the royal pages (patges) arrive, the Three Kings' helpers who collect children's letters.
