Is the circus coming back in 2026?

Very likely, but nothing is announced yet. The two Raluy circuses have taken turns at the Moll de la Fusta: Raluy Legacy in 2024 (Cyborg, from December 20 into March) and Circ Històric Raluy in 2025 (Terra, December 5, 2025 to March 22, 2026). Which branch comes, the new show and the dates are all still open.

Is it OK for toddlers?

The show is billed for all ages and runs about 1.5 to 2 hours with an intermission, which gives little ones a break. In 2025 the 12:15pm and 5pm shows were the easiest fit for nap times and bedtimes.

Is it in Spanish or Catalan?

Circus needs very little language. The clown and ringmaster talk a bit, but acrobatics, trapeze and live music carry the show.

Yes, buy online ahead for weekends and the Christmas holidays. In 2025 the circus warned that weekend shows were selling out.

How much does it cost?

In 2025 the city's culture agenda listed tickets from €4.50, with the price depending on the seat and day. 2026 prices come out with the new show.

Every Christmas a big top goes up on the Moll de la Fusta, the waterfront promenade at the bottom of the Rambla, and the Raluys, a Catalan circus family, put on a new show. Think trapeze, aerial silks, acrobats flying off a seesaw, contortionists, a clown and live music, close enough to see the performers' faces. There are no animal acts and very little talking, so it works for kids in any language. It is old-style circus with sequins and a ringmaster, the kind of show that holds a four-year-old and a grandparent equally.
