The organizers have promised a 2026 edition, but the dates are not out yet. In 2025 it ran Nov 20 to Jan 11, from 5:30pm to 9pm, closed Dec 24, Dec 31 and Jan 5.

How much do kids pay?

In 2025 kids 3 to 17 paid a reduced price, €12.50 on weekdays and €15.40 on weekends, and kids under 3 got in free. Adults paid €14.50 on weekdays and €17.90 on weekends.

Yes. Entry is by timed slot every 30 minutes, and weekend and holiday nights sell out, so book online before going.

How long does the walk take?

Plan on about an hour for the 1.5 km trail, plus time at the food area.

About

Els Llums de Sant Pau (The Lights of Sant Pau) is a night walk through the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, a former hospital built over a century ago as a garden city of tiled domes and red-brick pavilions. At Christmas, its gardens and courtyards light up with a trail of glowing installations. Kids follow Llumi, a star who has fallen from the sky, through a string of interactive stops to touch, play with and explore. A favorite is the royal camp of King Balthazar, one of the Three Kings (Reis) who bring gifts on January 6, and Somni Borealis recreates the glow of the northern lights.
