Yes. It is a family workshop for kids 7 and up with their adults, so plan to stay and make things alongside them.

How is it connected to the Invisible Animals exhibition?

The workshop is part of the museum's program around that exhibition. The creatures kids invent are inspired by its animals, real and fictional.

Is the museum easy with a wheelchair or stroller?

Yes. There is a lift into the museum, adapted restrooms throughout the building, and a wheelchair you can borrow. For needs specific to the workshop, call the museum at 93 256 60 02.

About

A hands-on art and storytelling workshop built around the museum's Invisible Animals exhibition: creatures vanishing from the wild, like the Montseny newt, and ones that only live in stories, like the yeti, the Little Mermaid and the Gruffalo. Kids start with sensory games and picture books, then each one invents a creature of their own and builds it a shelter from natural materials.
