Miró's Magic Objects: Create & Connect
This event has ended
WorkshopSants-Montjuïc
What you need to know
- Hands-on, not just looking: kids make their own artwork from everyday objects
- Parents take part too, working alongside their kids with artist Martí de la Malla
- Starts in the galleries with real pieces from the Miró collection before the making begins
About
Which objects would you choose to represent a clock? What would you call a sculpture made from a wooden box, a pitchfork and a ball? Artist and educator Martí de la Malla walks kids and parents through how artists give ordinary things meaning. Families look at works in the museum's collection together, then make their own piece from everyday materials. Suits kids who like making things with their hands.
