When do the toy factory tickets come out?

In 2025 they were released online on December 10 at 10am and ran out in 28 minutes, with accessible tickets the next day. Every adult and child over 2 needs a ticket. The date is usually similar each year, so set a reminder for early December.

Do we need to book the camps?

No. The Sants camp is free with no booking, and in 2025 the Nou Barris, Poblenou and other neighborhood camps were free and open too. Only the toy factory needs a ticket.

What happens inside the toy factory?

Groups go in every 20 minutes and walk through the Kings' workshop, warehouse and logistics center, drop letters at the royal post office and see how the presents get planned for January 5. In 2025 it opened December 27 to January 4, 5:30pm to 9:30pm, closed December 31 and January 1.

Is the Sants correfoc OK for little kids?

The Sants day ended with a correfoc, a Catalan fire run with sparklers and drums, at 8pm in 2025. It is loud and sparks fly, so keep small kids well back or leave before it starts, and cover up with long sleeves and a hat.

Is it all in Catalan?

The characters mostly speak Catalan, but they are used to little visitors, and a letter in any language, or a drawing, is welcome.

About

In the days before January 5, the Reis, the Three Kings, send their helpers ahead to set up camp around Barcelona. At a Campament Reial, a royal camp, kids meet patges (royal pages), the royal mail carrier, candy makers and even the coal seller who deals with naughty kids, and hand over their letter in person. The most magical stop is the Fàbrica de Joguines in the old Fabra i Coats textile mill, where the Kings' workers build and wrap toys in a busy workshop, warehouse and post office. The camps are simpler neighborhood affairs, with crafts, games and hot chocolate.
