Will my 5-year-old follow it without Spanish?

The big routines are visual: fire, levitations, vanishings, a saw blade. Yunke talks between tricks in Spanish and the jokes land in Spanish, so a kid without the language misses the banter but not the show.

Which show time works best with young kids?

Sunday at noon or Saturday at 5pm. The 7:30pm shows end around 8:50pm and the Thursday 8pm show around 9:20pm, late for under-8s.

Do toddlers need a ticket?

Under-2s go free if they sit on your lap. Anyone with their own seat pays.

The theater has a 25% discount at nearby SABA car parks; ask at the box office. Street parking on Paral·lel is tight on weekends.

Another parent I know said he went to see this magic show with his daughter and highly recommended it.

What you need to know

Big-stage illusions, not card tricks: fire, a vintage plane and a giant saw, sized for a theater like the Apolo
4-for-3 ticket deal on Thursday, Friday and Sunday shows, so a family of four pays for three
Spanish patter, visual tricks: a kid with no Spanish follows the illusions and misses only the jokes

About

Yunke is the Spanish illusionist who won the FISM world championship in Quebec in 2022, and Hangar 52 is his big stage show: a crew in flight suits, a vintage plane, fire, a giant circular saw and a storyline that jumps from ancient Egypt to da Vinci to the near future. Kids get called up for some routines. The patter is in Spanish, but the illusions carry the show.
