Can we bring a stroller?

Yes. Paths and ramps run through the whole garden, though the entrance ramp is fairly steep (a 10% slope) and the bonsai collection has no step-free access. The main building has two accessible restrooms.

Is the 5pm concert for kids?

Interluni sets poems by Miquel Martí i Pol to voice and violin, and the organizer pitches it at adults. Kids who sit happily through a concert will enjoy the setting; restless ones are better off with the morning activities.

Can kids explore on their own between activities?

Yes. Ask at the entrance for La motxilla per a naturalistes, a backpack of challenges about the garden's scents, colors and creatures that families do at their own pace.

The Jardí Botànic's autumn party fills its Mediterranean gardens on Montjuïc with things for kids to do. Toc de Fusta's play installation turns traditions from around the world into games, a wanderer on a tricycle pops up along the paths with puppets, music and magic, and families help the gardeners plant seasonal plants. Most of it is come-and-go, so it works for toddlers and school-age kids chasing a clue trail.
