Will the tunnels be too scary for my 4-year-old?

From 10am to 5pm the tunnels run the Haunted version, with soft scares, recommended from about age 2 or 3. From 5pm it switches to Scream, recommended from 7. Younger kids can go into Scream at their parents' call. The characters, shows and clue hunt outside the tunnels are playful.

How much are tickets for kids and adults?

Advance tickets on Oct 17, 18, 24 and 25: €12.50 for kids 4 to 12 and €14.50 for adults without the tunnels, or €14.50 and €16.50 with both tunnels. On Oct 31 and Nov 1 each ticket is €1.95 more. Online packs for three or four people charge everyone the child price, over-65s pay the child price, and under-2s are free. Every ticket includes entry to the Poble Espanyol.

Should kids come in costume?

Yes, costumes are part of the fun, and the Creepy Dance sessions invite kids to dance in theirs.

Yes, there is a food truck area with themed stalls. Bring your own reusable cup or buy one inside; the cups are not returnable.

For six days, the Poble Espanyol village on Montjuïc turns into a Halloween storybook. Families follow a clue hunt set by the witch Arsenia, meet about 30 costumed characters, and drop into storytelling, magic shows and a group dance kids can do in costume. The two tunnels are the part to plan around: gentle scares by day, a more intense version in the evening.
