How much does it cost?

Entry is free; rides are paid. In 2025 the ice rink cost €8.50 for 12 minutes (gloves are recommended and can be rented for €1), and the Ferris wheel has been about €8 in past years. Ship visits and sailing tasters were free.

What were the sea activities in 2025?

Free sailing tasters from the Moll de la Fusta steps, 12pm to 2pm on November 29 and 30 and December 5 to 7 and 19 to 21; visits to Salvament Marítim rescue boats and historic ships, including the Santa Eulàlia with its royal mailbox for letters to the Three Kings; and a Three Kings space on January 3 and 4 that needed booking ahead.

Is it OK with a stroller?

Yes. Moll de la Fusta is flat and wide, but evenings get crowded around the lights and rides, so a compact stroller is easier.

When is the nicest time to go?

Late afternoon: kids still have energy, the lights come on as it gets dark, and you can leave before the evening crowd. Weekday afternoons are the calmest.

About

Every Christmas the old harbor turns into a waterfront fair: wooden stalls and lights along Moll de la Fusta, a 65-meter Ferris wheel turning over the boats, and a synthetic ice rink where kids can skate without real ice. What sets it apart from the city's other fairs is the sea. Historic ships open their decks, the old harbor cable-car tower lights up at night, and kids have posted letters to the Three Kings from the Santa Eulàlia schooner. Little ones mostly head for the old-fashioned carousel and the Christmas train, with Father Christmas waving from the front carriage.
